What is the Gresford Trust?

Gresford Trust Hall

Gresford Trust or Gresford and District War Memorial Community Centre Trust was founded in 1949. The 18 acres of land are owned by the village with facilities suitable for both indoor and outdoor sport and also provide wonderful facilities for general community use in a modern building situated in a beautiful location.

Annual General Meeting

as stated in its constitution the Trust must elect 12 Villagers of Gresford, Marford and Horseley as Trustees at this meeting.

A most welcome bouquet!

A building such as Gresford Memorial Hall needs to be busy. Why? If we are busy, we are earning our keep. Many people do not realise that we are entirely self-supporting, we get no regular subsidies from any outside bodies and our income comes from bookings.

New Officers for Gresford Trust 2008 - 2009

At the AGM, Emlyn Jones was re-elected as Chairman and Andrew Bailey became Vice-chairman in place of Jenny Dutton. Richard Williams remains as Treasurer and Janet Holmes as Secretary. Val Shields is Assistant Secretary and Laura McDermott is Minutes Secretary.
